Welcome! On behalf of the Board of Directors, we’re glad you’ve chosen our community for your new
home. As you unpack and settle in, we hope you find the information listed below both helpful and useful.
Your HOA- We are a self managed Homeowners Association. We do contract with Vanguard Property
Management to collect monthly assessments, compile financial reports, and assist the HOA with Florida state
mandated filings.
Board Of Directors-Our Board Of Directors consists of your fellow homeowners who volunteer their
time to oversee the business of running the operation of our community. The Board meets monthly and all
homeowners are invited and encouraged to attend the meetings. We welcome input and time is allotted at
each meeting for homeowners to speak.
Communication with the HOA- Our email address is villageofsafetyharbor@gmail.com. Please make
sure to email us as soon as possible with your phone contact(s) and preferred email address. Questions and
concerns will be addressed and responded to within 3 days of receipt. Feel free to email compliments as well!
Monthly assessments- Monthly assessments are due the 1st day of the month. We encourage you to
register and set up an account at Vanguard Property Management: vanguard.cincwebaxis.com. You can set up
recurring automatic payments on their website. You may also pay your assessments by check and mail
payments to Village Of Safety Harbor HOA, C/O Vanguard Management Group, PO Box 1087, Commerce,
GA 30529. Please note our HOA does not issue an assessment coupon book. Enclosed is a copy of our
current year budget which shows how your dues are spent.
Trash and Recycling- The city of Safety Harbor picks up trash on Tuesdays and recycling on Fridays.
Containers should be placed no sooner than the evening before scheduled pickup and stored inside your
garage after pick-up. Please ensure you only place permitted items (glass, cardboard, rinsed cans, allowable
plastics etc. in the recycling container. No plastic bags containing anything or garbage is allowed in the
recycling containers. The city will not pick up the recycling container if it contains non-recyclable items. To
recycle large quantities of cardboard, please visit the Safety Harbor Public Works Recycling Facility located at
1200 Railroad Ave, Safety Harbor.
Parking- Guests may park their vehicles on the street, but cannot block anyone’s driveway except your
own. Homeowners may only park their personal vehicles on the street temporarily for short periods of time. No
overnight street parking unless prior written arrangements are made with the HOA. In general, overnight
parking restrictions are relaxed the week of Thanksgiving and between December 23- January 2nd.
Architectural Review Committee- Any change made to the exterior of your home or lot must receive
prior approval from the ARC.
Read and familiarize yourself with the Association documents you agreed to at the closing of your
home. Know your rights as well as your responsibilities. Copies of our documents are located at
vanguard.cincwebaxis.com.
